OMBRE PANTS

Many people have been asking me where i got my ombre pants while actually I just evolved it from simple boring jeans. For those not familiar with ombre, ombre is a mixture of two different hues/colors.There are ombre shirts, pants, hair and even lips, just takes mixing of different colors.     So back to ombre pants, its actually a DIY project, here are the steps;                               1. Get a pair of  of simple blue jeans.             2. Tie the top half of the pants into a polythene bag.                                                    3. Fill a bucket with water and add bleach, make sure the bleach is saturated.     4. Take the pants and dip them in the water, make sure the top half tied in the polythene is not in the water, you can use a peg to attach it to the side or just hang it out of the bucket.                                 5.  Leave it overnight and the next day wash to remove any suspended color.

And there is your simple procedure to denim ombre pants, you can even try it on a denim shirt.Denim is easy because other fabrics require dying which is a longer process than just bleaching.

Here are the results to my pants, and to add to the funk i ragged it to make it more street style. For ragging I use a razor then brush over it with a scrubbing brush to give it that unfinished texture(when brushing make sure the area is wet)
